The Artvertising project is now finished. Here are some pictures. It translates the success of the milliondollar homepage from a website on to a physical building.

As a kid, we used to eat a cereal breakfast with rice pops. On the package of the rice pops there was a little blue bird called Dodo, who seemed to enjoy the rice pops as well! On a certain day we stopped eating the pops. The product was taken of the market or my mother just didn't buy them anymore. Since then we ate cornflakes. We never saw Dodo again. I've always wondered if Dodo went extinct or switched to cornflakes as well.

"Stop this mess, let's make a movie!" Tree dudes grab their ultrasonic lasergear and give their best attempt at backyard movieproductions. My short film AMATEURS will be screened at the Streaming festival. Amateurs was produced without any budget. In the interview on the festival website I announced a sequel on Amateurs, I have written the scenario some time ago. It is called 'Action!' and has lots of explosions. I only need 80.000 euro to realize it.

Beautiful World is a film to read. A film compiled of texts only, in which form and content are no longer presented separately and the boundaries of entertainment and high culture are blurred. Visual inflation as inspiration. Directed by Mieke Gerrizen. Scenario by Henk Oosterling, Geert Lovink and Koert van Mensvoort.
Next thursday this new film will be presented at the Stedelijk museum AMSTERDAM. After the presentation there will be a debate with various thinkers and critics.
Beautiful World Screening 27 April 2006, 20:00-22:00 Organised by Museum de Beyerd in collaboration with SMCS on 11 Oosterdokskade 5, Amsterdam

There's a war out there, old friend, a world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets, it's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think, it's all about the information! -Cosmo, in Sneakers

It was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this plastic bag was, like, dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. And that's the day I realized that there was this entire life behind things, and... this incredibly benevolent force, that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid, ever.
