Nature! We all love it. But what is it? Real nature is untouched by humans, but paradoxally humans evolved out of nature themselves. Nowadays our environment is entirely determined by ourselves. The roof above your head, the chair you sit on, there is nothing natural to it. Look around you and try to find the most natural object in the room. It is you.

I wonder, what it means to be human in our next nature and initiated a project: Na ons de Mens. (alert: lots of letters.. and Dutch!)

We are questioning our position in the universe here. That humans evolved out of nature is not a paradox in this matter. Consider nature not as a untouched “object” but more as a method or as experience. (in combination with convergating evolution, we are not so unique or special at all) As a techno optimist i think we will reach some kind of a zenbalance, where technologie helps us to “fengshoo” our existence.

That corporate power is not destroying something precious called “nature”, man is eliminating itself by destroying its harmonical relationship with the total. In the future technologie will make it possible to reach a respectable state of zenbalance on a individual scale. What politics and or religion promise but never deliver. Still i am worried about rendition, with a lower than 100% rendition of your interaction with your environment you will always have turbulence as a unwanted side effect, so tech development and especially the implementment of it should make some speed!
